Musical Improvisation Workshop 1
Musical Improvisation for Beginners
This musical improvisation workshop is part one of a two-part workshop. Even the most beginner performers can begin creating songs in improvised scenes. Students will learn to improvise songs using simple song structures, making them sound if they had been written. By learning to work with and create their own rhythms and patterns, students will gain skills that they can apply to all forms of improv. Musical improvisation doesn’t require any musical experience, only the willingness to play. No previous singing experience required.
- When: Sun, Feb 21, 13:30 – 16:30
