Musical Improvisation for Beginners
This musical improvisation workshop is part two of a two-part workshop, but it can also be taken on its own if participants have had some musical improvisation training. Continue to apply your existing musical improv skills in song as a natural extension of your work as an improviser. Topics include improvised singing, scenes into song, solos, duets, group singing, synchronised dancing, and musical improv structure.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
HaPe (as he is known) is a German improviser, actor, voiceover artist, musician and coach, who has played piano and trumpet for more than 20 years. As part of the improv group “Die Improtöre” from Mannheim, he has performed regularly since 2007, and is also a special guest improviser at FITS improvisation comedy in Frankfurt. In addition to teaching improvisation workshops of all kinds, he has a great deal of experience in learning from esteemed teachers such as Isolde Fischer/Drama light (Mannheim), Doug Nunn (California), Keith Johnstone (Canada), Beatrix Brunschko/TiB (Graz), Gerry Weber/Harrioli (Zürich) and many more.
