The Saturday Dropin

The Saturday Dropin – A Taster Course in Improvisation

TLS Frankfurt holds a ‘taster’ theatre improvisation fundamentals Dropin course the first Saturday of every month. The classes are always different, so it is fun to attend more than once, but students are not committed to attending, or even registering for more than the duration of the Saturday class itself. Students who want to attend the Saturday Dropin are urged to register online, in order to ensure they get a place, should too many students decide to Dropin that day!

This course is for improvisers of all levels who can’t commit the time or money to a full course or who are in the mood in the mood to spontaneously brush up on their improv skills.

What do you learn at the Saturday Dropin? – Theatre Improvisation Fundamentals Each Dropin class is different, and designed to be taken by students of all levels, for actors and non-actors. We revisit the fundamentals of improvisational theatre by stretching one particular muscle at a time. Past Dropins have covered listening, awareness, environment, emotions, or grounded scene work as examples. It is for people who want to free their creativity, learn better communication skills, and have a bit of fun by learning to take risks in a fun and supportive environment.

First Saturday of every month, 16:30-19:00, €10/2.5 hour class (Cash only). Maximum students 18.
